Water leaking from apartment above me in my bathroom underneath and tried to contact someone about it but nobody was reachable

Lack of communication from host. Contacted host to ask about linen for the pull out bed to be told it was there yet entire apartment searched and there was none whatsoever. Had to sleep with no linen! Which is disgusting comsidering there was a £55 cleaning fee which isn’t mentioned on booking.com! We had to pay this before the code for the door was handed over. £55 to clean somewhere is ridiculous!

Unfortunately, on arrival I was given an incorrect door code, which immediately left me unable to access the property. I called the emergency contact number provided; it rang through once, but all subsequent calls were either blocked or automatically rejected. I was left standing outside in freezing conditions for over 45 minutes with no assistance whatsoever.
During this time, I attempted every reasonable method of contact. Telephone calls, emails, and text messages were all ignored. There was no communication, no guidance, and no attempt to resolve the situation. For a business claiming to host paying guests, this level of inaccessibility is completely unacceptable.
To date, I have received no refund, no explanation of what went wrong, and not even a basic apology. I am now having to fight through Booking.com to recover money that should have been refunded immediately, given that I was never able to access the accommodation at all.
This entire experience was a complete disaster from start to finish. I travelled over four and a half hours to reach this accommodation, only to be left stranded and forced to find alternative accommodation nearby at short notice, incurring additional stress and expense.
If this is how this operator chooses to behave, they should not be accepting bookings or serving guests. I would strongly advise anyone considering staying here to double-check all access details well in advance or, better yet, avoid the risk entirely. No guest should be treated this way
