Borgo Suites - Sostify

The location was great and I was able to walk to the funicular in about 18 minutes. Lots of shops, bars, cafes around. Near to bus stop so able to get to the city's main transport hub in 2 stops. The host was very responsive and helpful and able to communicate in English. I was able to book las minute due to wanting to move closer to the city. Wifi worked well and there was plenty of tea and coffee stocked. Wine glasses and a corkscrew and mini fridge. Lovely modern bathroom and big shower. Huge bed. Good sized TV perfectly positioned for watching films in bed.

The lack of air conditioning and lots of stairs being on the third floor. It was very hot during my stay (in June) and the fan noisy and it blew around hot air after a while. Only one window and I didn't get any breeze so it felt very stuffy, so 2 days was enough there in the weather conditions, but understand this is a heritage building.

We arrived at Bergamo Airport and reached the apartments easily by public transport. There was a short walk involved, but it was absolutely manageable and hassle-free. The self check-in process was smooth and straightforward, with no issues at all. What makes this place truly special is the atmosphere. The apartments are located in a very authentic and unique historic building. The courtyard, stone staircases, and overall architecture make you feel like a character in a medieval TV series. It is a fantastic experience that adds so much charm to the stay. The apartment itself was very spacious, exceptionally clean, and felt almost brand new. Everything was well maintained and thoughtfully arranged. The bathroom was large, modern, and equipped with a great shower. Overall, everything was perfect. If I had to mention one small thing, blackout curtains would be a nice addition, as the morning sunlight can be quite bright. Another major advantage is that the historic center is just a short walk away, so your sightseeing experience starts almost immediately. There are plenty of cafés nearby, a large supermarket within walking distance, and even a kebab shop that is open every day. Honestly, we found no real drawbacks—only advantages. The room was really great, very comfortable and had everything we needed. Everything was clean and the instructions were easy to follow. The communication with the host was fantastic as well! We received great recommendations for pubs and places to eat!

The building where the apartment is located can seem a bit old at first, but it's very safe and we had no issues!
