Wish you could escape the crowds and enjoy a truly relaxing getaway? Welcome to "Silver Lining" a peaceful townhome retreat situated in a quiet neighborhood only a mile from Bethany Beach, complete with access to a community pool and tennis courts. This charming home features 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, comfortably accommodating up to 6 people. With a full kitchen, dining area, and a screened-in porch for relaxing on those cool summer nights, it's the perfect home base for your next vacation.
Floor-by-Floor Description
Main Level: The main level features a bright, open living and dining area designed for comfort. The fully equipped kitchen provides everything needed for at-home meals, while the adjacent screened-in porch offers the perfect space for enjoying coastal breezes. A convenient powder room is also located on this level.
Second Level: The upper level houses the sleeping quarters, including the Primary Suite which features a King bed and a private en-suite bathroom. Two additional guest bedrooms are located on this floor: one with a Queen bed and another featuring two Twin beds. A full guest bathroom serves these additional rooms.

LINEN PACKAGE
1st Choice Properties provides bed and bath linens for you. Your linen package includes: fitted sheets, top sheets, and pillowcases for all beds; sets of bath towels, hand towels, and wash cloths for all guests; kitchen towels and bathmats for all full bathrooms. Your linens will be delivered to the home prior to your arrival; you are responsible for putting the linens on the beds. You are also responsible for bagging the linens at the end of your stay and leaving them outside the residence for pick-up after your departure.
STARTER KIT
1st Choice Properties also provides a Starter Kit with all rentals. Your Starter Kit includes (1) roll of paper towels, (2) rolls of toilet paper, (1) 3oz bottle of dish soap, (1) dish sponge, (1) 13gal kitchen trash bags. You are responsible for providing any additional toiletries, soap, and paper products as needed.
MISCELLANEOUS
The maximum occupancy is 6 people.
There is parking for 2 vehicles.
No pets, smoking, vaping, or events are allowed.
Delaware regulations require all guests to sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.
Check-in is 4PM and check-out is 10AM. This is non-negotiable. Your access codes for the property will activate and deactivate precisely at these times; occupancy outside these timeframes without express permission from 1st Choice Properties is considered unlawful trespassing. 1st Choice Properties will contact you directly the day of your arrival if your property is available for an early check-in at no additional cost to you; this is our standard practice and you do not need to contact us to opt-in to it.
The property owners we represent do not permit reservations for groups under the age of 25.

Delaware has imposed a short-term rental lodging tax at the rate of 4.5% of the rent upon every occupancy of a short-term rental within the State. This new tax went into effect on January 1, 2025. Check in was easy, pre-check in communications were very good: The front steps were splintery and need treatment. The toilets are very low, not good for older people with knee or hip issues, and the beds are very low too, and the way they are constructed makes it very difficult to "make the bed". They are reasonably comfortable and there are lots of pillows to choose from. The master bathroom toilet kept plugging and overflowed causing a bad leak on the floor and through the ceiling. We used all of our towels to clean up the mess and reported it immediately. The office staff was very friendly, but also totally ineffective. They sent someone while we were out who did unplug the toilet, but they threw the dirty towels in our tub along with the plunger. They threw the wet bathroom rug on to the bedroom rug and didn't clean up the leak on the dining room table. They also didn't leave new towels. Two calls later we still did not have towels and I asked to speak with a manager, and was told there was no manager on duty until the next day. Also, the dishwasher didn't work so we arrived to find a dishwasher full of dirty dishes. The next day Nicole called. I explained the situation to her, and she immediately got cleaners in, and towels delivered, and the cleaners washed the dirty dishes. This was a personnel issue as much as anything. Nicole also followed up at every point. The location is very good so we might stay there again, but as I said, there were issues.

Myself, husband and 2 dear friends enjoyed this property very much. Our common suggestion is related to the shades in the bedrooms: they do not fit well and thus allow the sun’s heat and brightness to take away from otherwise comfortable bedrooms.

The property was nice, I was not impressed by the fact that I had to make all the beds when we arrived, then strip all of them and remake them when we left. Why did I pay a cleaning fee to do housekeeping while on vacation? I also had to open the windows as soon as we arrived because there was a strong cat pee odor while walking up the stairs to the upper level.
