Check-in was straightforward, with the key easily accessible from a lockbox using the code provided in advance. The apartment was spotlessly clean. The air conditioning was very effective and an absolute godsend in the heat, while the shower was wonderfully powerful with plenty of hot water. We also enjoyed having breakfast outside under the umbrella each morning, and the views from the roof were lovely.

The interior feels a bit like a time warp and could do with a refresh. There is also quite a lot of unnecessary furniture, crockery and other items in the cupboards, making the space feel cluttered. The metal spiral staircase leading to the "roof terrace" didn't inspire much confidence when going up and down. The terrace itself is really just a flat concrete roof with two plastic chairs and a table; although the view over the bay is lovely, the space could be made much more inviting. A full-length mirror would also have been really useful, especially when getting ready for a wedding.

Le foto non sono del tutto veritiere: ad esempio, il terrazzo in realtà è un tetto piano con un tavolo di plastica e due sedie piuttosto consumate. La casa è bellina ma poco curata e guadagnerebbe se si svuotassero gli armadi pieni di coperte, gli armadietti zeppi di piatti e bicchieri spaiati, i cassetti con posate vecchie… se di aggiustasse lo scarico della lavatrice che perde acqua, ecc. Non guasterebbe avere una scopa e un moccio, visto che noi siamo stati sette notti e nessuno è venuto a pulire.
