This was our second stay here, and we even extended our holiday by a couple of days because we enjoy it so much. Just park up in the shade opposite the apartment and you’ll be greeted by the lovely Maria, who welcomed us with traditional Greek coffee and biscuits—a wonderful start to any holiday. The apartment is traditional, peaceful, spacious, and very well equipped. It has a private balcony with lovely views of the sea and parts of the castle, and it genuinely feels like a home away from home. If you’re partial to a gin and tonic, you’ll even find plenty of lemon trees just outside the front door! The location is perfect for exploring this beautiful part of the Peloponnese, with easy day trips to the Palace of Nestor, Pylos, Ancient Messene, Koroni, and many other historic sites and beautiful beaches. We prefer staying somewhere just outside the hustle and bustle, and Ilias Apartments strikes that balance perfectly. It’s peaceful and relaxing, yet only a five-minute stroll along the seafront into the heart of Methoni, giving you the best of both worlds. The apartment offers fantastic value for money, and after two wonderful stays, we already know we’ll be back again next year. Highly recommended! We don’t usually spend too much time on reviews or more than two nights in one place but this one is worth it ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

L'appartement était très agréable avec une grande terrasse et vue sur la mer Maria qui nous a accueilli était très gentille L'appartement était très bien équipé avec plaque four, grille-pain, cafetière, etc. un parking devant la maison

La cuisine aurait besoin d'un petit peu de nettoyage et la salle de bain, un peu de rénovation

our apartment was not clean when we got it - grubby bathroom, dirty dishes in the cupboard, stained fridge. this was somewhat made up by the owner when we asked for it. all the equipment was pretty dated and would need a freshup.
