This alpine hut is situated at 1800 metres directly in the Falkert skiing and hiking area in the Carinthian Nockberge mountains. Since June 2010, the landlords have completely remodelled and reopened their restaurant Kärntnerhaus. So you can indulge in culinary delights there and don't have to walk far. Of course, there are also fresh breakfast pastries delivered directly to your door! In the centre of the house is the entrance with a very spacious entrance hall and cloakroom. From there you enter a bedroom with two bunk beds (for four people) and a bathroom with shower and WC. One floor above is a large bedroom with a double bed, sitting area and satellite TV. From the cloakroom you can access one of the two south-facing sun terraces and, one floor below, the heart of the house. There you will find a cosy living room with a dining area, as well as an open kitchen with electric cooker and oven, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, microwave, various kitchen appliances and plenty of crockery. As a further amenity, the landlords provide you with a Nespresso coffee machine free of charge. From this room you can watch the crackling fire in the tiled stove (automatic shut-off). From every window you have a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains, up to the Falkertspitze. Furthermore, an open arch leads you into the living area, which has a spacious lounge area with satellite TV, telephone and small music system. Here you can also warm yourself by the tiled stove.
