La Dimora E&F House

The apartment is very spacious and provides 2 bathrooms (although small). One bath had an extra large tub that my son enjoyed very much. Everything is clean and well taken care of. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had what we needed. We were able to safely park on the street for 4 nights for free. The grocery store was across the street, so it was easy to gather goods for our stay.

All in and all it was an alright stay, when we arrived we needed a smartphone to open the door and I don't have and want a smart phone so personally I am always a bit sensitive to this but my daughter had one so it went fine. I would have loved to have an old school key, but I get it times change. Then the kitchen was quite good although not 100% clean, but certainly not dirty at all, as we arrived and there were no kitchen knifes or tea towels or a cutting board, of course we asked for this and she kindly send her own mother to supply what was missing. You can't have a kitchen without tools right? The beds were comfortable and the pillows were actually quite good and I am very specific with pillows but these ones I got to like. The area is not the historic center but a residential area about a 10 minute walk from the Vatican so reasonably close. The area has shops, restaurants, a pastry shop right at the entrance and a huge supermarket 3 minutes away. One of the bathrooms has a big bath that was nice.

Like stated before the kitchen was incomplete but now it is complete, the bathrooms could have been a bit cleaner, fungus in the grouts, and not much space to move around. The windows are single glass and although not facing the street directly it gave a little sound pollution. There are 2 hospitals in the area so you will hear quite some sirens but I guess that is what every city has. We couldn't control the heating where we wanted it low in the bedrooms and higher in the living room that has only 1 heater but with the single glass we couldn't get nice and warm but it wasn't cold either. The view is far from spectacular, you see the back of the house not worth watching out the window for. Also there was no information in English about where the supermarket might be or about taxis, busses and tourist attractions. Would be good to put a complementary map of Rome for the guests.

Apparemment spacieux , bien équipé. Le métro Baldo Degli Ubaldi est environ à 10min à pieds.
