The house is very spacious with many areas for people to congregate/get away if necessary. Great for large groups (we had 20ppl) as long as some are willing to share rooms/spaces with others. Also, there were plenty of spaces for the 11 cars + 1 boat to park. Perfect location for Monroe by day and Bloomington by night.

My wife and I recently had the most amazing experience at the Scenic View Lodge. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning view of the lake and rolling hills of Monroe county from our bedroom window. The scenery was simply breathtaking and we couldn't believe our luck in having such a beautiful view right from our room. At night, the starry skies were a sight to behold and we spent hours stargazing from the comfort of our bed. The hot tub was another highlight of our stay, providing us with the perfect way to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. Speaking of which, the lodge is surrounded by beautiful hiking trails which we thoroughly enjoyed. The lodge itself was spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved it so much that we are already planning to return with some friends and their families in the future. Overall, our stay at the Scenic View Lodge was an unforgettable experience and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway.

Celebrated our family Christmas with our 5 grown children and their families. The home fit us perfectly. Each family had their own large room with it's own bathroom, which is important with a large number of young grandchildren. It's difficult to tell in the listing, but we had our own separate apartment suite that was attached to the main house. It was a welcome sanctuary after a long day of togetherness. Plenty of beds and rooms to gather. The host was amazing! Extremely helpful accommodating to our requests. The view from the home is spectacular! It seems remote, but is really close to everything Bloomington has to offer. Can't say enough good things. Everyone in our group loved the home. Thank you Jessica!

Great locale - view is wonderful. Very roomy. It is a bit quirky and needs the remodeling to be finished. Th additional acreage noted is not easily accessed and you may have to walk through an active campground.
