Eagle Crest Lodge was the ideal spot for our 17 member cousins' reunion. With 8 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms (1 shared by 2 bedrooms), there was room for everyone to be comfortable. The large kitchen allowed us to prepare and serve a full Thanksgiving meal and the extra tables and chairs meant we could set up a dining configuration in the garage (much nicer than it sounds) where we could all gather without being separated from each other. Four separate, cozy sitting areas contained books, games, a fireplace and piano.
This rental is stocked better than most homes - everything from roasters and crockpots to a myriad of towels and cooking utensils. There were outdoor games (corn hole, giant Connect Four, croquet, etc., as well as a pool table and ping-pong table. An outdoor basketball hoop and swingset/wooden climbing boat completes the activities available.
The upper deck spans Eagle's Crest and the front porch contained numerous chairs to relax in and enjoy the amazing views.
Lastly, the fire pit was enjoyed each evening. Although wood is available, we brought extra, as well as outdoor chairs. What a way to end each day - listening to the sounds of the nearby forest, telling jokes and being mesmerized by the flames!

We had a small church youth weekend retreat. The place was ideal: Plenty of space to spread out, 5 bathrooms, plenty of places to gather as a group, plenty of sleeping accommodations, and nice big dining tables to share a meal together. We had snow and low temps for the weekend, but with the big screen TV, ping pong, billiards table, foosball, corn hole, and piano, there was plenty to keep entertained. If this place is available for our next retreat, we're booking it!
