During my stay in Hurghada, I had the pleasure of staying at Al Kasr Sahl Hasheesh, and it turned out to be a truly wonderful and memorable resort experience along the Red Sea. Before read my review just go a head, book a room at Al Kasr Sahl Hasheesh Resort!!! One of the first things that impressed me was the beautiful atmosphere and architecture of the resort. The design feels inspired by traditional Arabian palaces, with elegant arches, warm sand-colored buildings, and spacious courtyards that create a peaceful and luxurious feeling. Walking around the property, especially in the evening when the lights softly illuminate the buildings, makes the resort feel like a small royal village by the sea. The location in Sahl Hasheesh is also very special. The name means “Green Valley” in Arabic, although today the area is better known for its stunning coastline where the desert meets the crystal-clear waters of the Red Sea. The Red Sea is famous worldwide for its coral reefs and vibrant marine life, and this region is considered one of the most beautiful snorkeling and diving destinations in the world. The water here is incredibly clear, with gorgeous shades of turquoise and deep blue. Another highlight of the stay was definitely the food. The cuisine at the resort is absolutely amazing, everything is delicious and full of flavor. The breakfast buffet is enormous, with so many choices that it almost feels impossible to try everything. There were so many dishes that I honestly wished I had a bigger stomach so I could taste more of them. The resort also offers several specialty restaurants, including Asian, Lebanese, and Italian restaurants, which require reservations one day in advance. We didn’t know about this system at first, and when we arrived at one of the restaurants we were told they were fully booked. However, the manager of the Italian restaurant was incredibly kind and understanding. After we explained that nobody had informed us about the reservation system during check-in, he kindly welcomed us and found a table for us. Thanks to his generosity, we were able to enjoy a wonderful dinner that evening. We truly appreciated his hospitality. I would also like to mention ***, a fantastic staff member who works at the Turkish snack restaurant during the day and at the Italian restaurant in the evening. He is incredibly caring, friendly, and attentive to guests. Every time we saw him he greeted us warmly and made us feel very welcome. The resort should be proud to have someone like Eslam on their team. For travelers arriving from the airport, the resort is also very conveniently located, about 20 minutes from Hurghada International Airport. We took an Uber and paid around 2000 Egyptian pounds. (Around €15) One thing to know is that the driver asked for cash payment when we met him and then canceled the ride on the Uber app, which seems to be quite common locally. So don’t get mad about it, you can nicely negotiate the price. Overall, Al Kasr Sahl Hasheesh is a beautiful resort where you can truly relax, enjoy amazing food, and experience the stunning beauty of the Red Sea. If anyone is hesitating about where to stay in Hurghada, this is the one. You will only be satisfied.
