Calaba SpaccaNapoli

This is a residential serviced apartment type accommodation. The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. Great location about 8 min from the central railway station. Was able to leave bags at the premises on arrival to explore the city (usually charges a fee but waved it). Nice view of the area from the windows. Three levels of security.

A few irritants. The location. Although close to the central railway station the area was very grungie with lots of rubbish on the streets, with a very high concentration of African migrants in the area. Noisy at night only marginally diminished by closing the windows. Small shower cubicles and stairs, all common in Italy. Breakfast came with the accommodations with a cafe down stairs. Coffee and pastry. However the place never felt welcoming and we only went twice over 5 days, preferring to pay for breakfast somewhere else.

Good location, room was clean and comfy beds. Self check in with clear instructions and access to staff via WhatsApp

Codes for doors didn't work but immediate response from staff which resolved things

The room was clean.

The entry door code didn’t work at the time of arrival we needed to contact host and use different one. Facilities in the rooms were quite old (the container for shower gel was broken), the coffee machine in the hall didn’t work. The access to the apartments was hard (tiny elevator than stairs than following some sketchy corridor). This apartment is in quite disturbing area of Napoli very dirty, full of homeless people and not welcoming in general. But it is a city centre.
