New Street D - City Centre

Accessibility to all the different places we wanted to go

- Inability to move all our luggage into the apartment 6, easily, due to the steep and narrow staircase. We had to send remaining luggage to somewhere for keep throughout our stay. - Dirty entrance staircase with snacks littered on both the floor and the baby pram kept at entrance, the base of the staircase which made it narrower - The main entrance door to the facility can easily be unlocked from outside due to an opening on the door

I loved my stay, hot shower, very comfortable bed, close to the center of everything, and the apartment had everything I needed.

Right in the heart of the city, this apartment is well appointed with most of the things you could need to stay at the centre of things in this historic city. We walked, went to the Royal Worcester Museum, played crazy golf at Mulligans, ate wonderful food from the many places on New Street and went to wonderful 500 year old pubs. One of them, two doors down, the King Charles, was so welcoming and was like stepping back in time. You could imagine King Charles I was just upstairs! The flat itself has a good kitchen which we cooked in on a couple of evenings. The flat was warm and looks well cared for, clean and is well styled. We were visiting at New Year so some things in Worcester were closed but there was still plenty to do.

This is not the place for you if you are a light sleeper. I always take earplugs wherever I go and was grateful for them as on some of the evenings the Pub next door and the Club opposite had late licences and it was very, very noisy! Kinda fun on New Year's Eve when we were awake too but as the flat is single-glazed there was no sound barrier! The one thing that might put you off is the arrival, you head down a litter-strewn alley to a shabby painted back door. I did wonder where we had come as was a bit worried. We stayed in apartment D and this is two flights of stairs up and one flight down again. But the flat was worth it and we are fit so this wasn’t a problem. But the “curb appeal” was off putting. The thing that would make the flat really nice is a comfy sofa to chill out on after a long day exploring. There’s two chairs at the moment that look cool but are not comfy.

Liked the fact it was close to our favourite pubs. Close to City Centre. It was very warm.

Very noisy area. Need to warn guests how noisy it can be. A welcome pack would be good with suggestions of places to go etc. We were given wrong WiFi code and password. Warning about amount of stairs would be good too. A small welcome pack to include milk would have been a lovely added extra. Chairs not comfy in living room. A sofa would be nice. A new bin for bathroom that doesn't have lid missing.
