The property was very clean and comfortable and in a great town centre location next to the castle.
The kitchen was well-equipped.
Parking near the property was easy as per the owner's instructions.
It's in a fascinating, historic building.
There was no freezer or ice box to make ice for G&Ts!
A pint of milk in the fridge to make a cuppa on arrival would have been much appreciated. That seems normal for holiday homes now.

It is a nice property that really holds its place well within the town's personality, very clean and tidy, decently priced and perfectly situated for ease of access to all the amenities the town has to offer. Access to parking is easy if you decide to use the long stay car park nearby as it sits between the property and the garden entrance/exit to Alnwick castle.
We found the bunk beds rather uncomfortable (potentially personal preference) and small, so for anyone 6 foot or above will struggle in them. The shower cubicle is slightly on the smaller size, but is a very minor inconvenience.
