About this villa rental
Located in the heart of Penestanan, this villa offers easy access to Ubud’s best cafes, yoga studios (Alchemy and Intuitive Flow) and cultural attractions, while providing a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature.

The space
A short walk along a narrow path takes you away from the sounds of cars and motorbikes into our tranquil compound. This beautiful two-bedroom, two-bathroom, two-story villa offers a serene retreat surrounded by lush, manicured gardens, koi and lotus ponds, and a swimming pool.
Inside, you’ll find an open-plan dining, living, and kitchen area decorated with exquisite Balinese art, masks, and puppets, collected over the past 35 years. Handmade teak wood furniture adds to the villa’s authentic charm. Each bedroom and the living area open onto spacious verandas with comfortable seating, perfect for relaxing with a book or enjoying the garden views. Around the pool, you’ll find a gazebo and lounge chairs, making it an ideal spot to unwind. The pool is large enough for swimming laps, floating on an air mattress, or simply sitting on the steps to cool off.
Modern comforts meet traditional charm, with WiFi available throughout the villa and gardens, plus a new flat-screen TV with satellite channels, including movies, news, and kids’ programming.
Bedrooms & Amenities:
• Downstairs Bedroom: Air-conditioned, king-size bed with mosquito net, en-suite bathroom with both indoor and outdoor showers, a private outdoor fountain, and modern conveniences.
• Upstairs Bedroom: Air-conditioned, two twin beds with mosquito nets, en-suite shower, small sofa, TV, and two balconies (East and West-facing) with armchairs, a table, and a traditional Balinese daybed.
Although the villa is tucked away from traffic, a five-minute walk brings you to charming restaurants, an excellent yoga studio, massage spas, and a full-sized supermarket.
For larger groups, an additional bungalow on the property is available for rent, just footsteps from the main villa. Special rates are available for booking both properties together—please inquire for details.
