Villa Mare

ViIla had everything you needed to have a great Stay. More or less what you have in your own Home.

The Pool was not working and was a bit messy and dirty but this was due to an electric trip switch in the main electrical board. Pool man came and cleaned the Pool and got It all running again.

Property was amazing it had everything you could want. I would highly recommend staying here

The only thing I could criticise was the pillows weren't the best

Très belle villa Bien aménagée et spacieuse Calme et propre

Ras Quelques aménagements plus arborés autour de la piscine aurait été encore plus sympathique.

On the positive side, the outdoor area is fantastic. The pool is great, there’s plenty of space to relax, and having a basketball hoop was a nice bonus. The bed linen and towels were spotless, smelled fresh, and felt very clean. We also appreciated having both a washing machine and a dishwasher, which made our stay much more convenient.

Unfortunately, there were several issues that affected our experience. When we arrived, there were dead cockroaches around the house, and over the following days we also saw several live ones outside. We understand this can happen due to the climate, but we would advise future guests to be very careful not to leave windows or doors open. We arrived late in the evening, so we completely understand that nobody was there to greet us. However, we would have appreciated at least a welcome message or a short visit during the following days to explain a few important things about the house, Wi-Fi, tips to explore the island. For example, the way the doors lock is quite unusual-you can easily lock yourself out of the house from the courtyard if you don’t have your key with you. A quick explanation would have saved us a lot of stress. We also had repeated problems connecting to the Wi-Fi and had to contact Carlos several times. In addition, there were no dishwasher tablets or even basic dishwashing detergent when we arrived. After we contacted Carlos, it took three days before these were provided. We would suggest either supplying these essentials from the start or clearly stating in the listing that guests need to purchase them themselves. There were also no cleaning products available. We wanted to clean the outdoor dining table before using it, but it was obvious it hadn’t been cleaned for a long time-the cloth turned black from the dirt. There is also a barbecue, but it was so dirty that we couldn’t use it. We had read previous reviews mentioning a welcome bottle of wine and fruit, but we didn’t receive any welcome amenities. While this isn’t essential, it did make the hospitality feel inconsistent. Likewise, when we informed Carlos that we were leaving, we didn’t even receive a simple “thank you” or “goodbye,” which left us feeling a little disappointed. Inside the house, the furniture is quite worn and could use updating.
