On the positive side, the outdoor area is fantastic. The pool is great, there’s plenty of space to relax, and having a basketball hoop was a nice bonus. The bed linen and towels were spotless, smelled fresh, and felt very clean. We also appreciated having both a washing machine and a dishwasher, which made our stay much more convenient.

Unfortunately, there were several issues that affected our experience. When we arrived, there were dead cockroaches around the house, and over the following days we also saw several live ones outside. We understand this can happen due to the climate, but we would advise future guests to be very careful not to leave windows or doors open. We arrived late in the evening, so we completely understand that nobody was there to greet us. However, we would have appreciated at least a welcome message or a short visit during the following days to explain a few important things about the house, Wi-Fi, tips to explore the island. For example, the way the doors lock is quite unusual-you can easily lock yourself out of the house from the courtyard if you don’t have your key with you. A quick explanation would have saved us a lot of stress. We also had repeated problems connecting to the Wi-Fi and had to contact Carlos several times. In addition, there were no dishwasher tablets or even basic dishwashing detergent when we arrived. After we contacted Carlos, it took three days before these were provided. We would suggest either supplying these essentials from the start or clearly stating in the listing that guests need to purchase them themselves. There were also no cleaning products available. We wanted to clean the outdoor dining table before using it, but it was obvious it hadn’t been cleaned for a long time-the cloth turned black from the dirt. There is also a barbecue, but it was so dirty that we couldn’t use it. We had read previous reviews mentioning a welcome bottle of wine and fruit, but we didn’t receive any welcome amenities. While this isn’t essential, it did make the hospitality feel inconsistent. Likewise, when we informed Carlos that we were leaving, we didn’t even receive a simple “thank you” or “goodbye,” which left us feeling a little disappointed. Inside the house, the furniture is quite worn and could use updating.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this villa and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting Lanzarote. The villa is bright, spacious, spotlessly clean, and well furnished, creating a homely feel from the moment you arrive. The enormous sofa was perfect for relaxing in the evenings, and the well-equipped kitchen had everything I needed. It was also a lovely touch to find essentials such as detergents, towels, and an extensive selection of herbs and spices already provided, which made settling in so much easier. The heated swimming pool was undoubtedly the highlight of my stay. The temperature was just right—refreshing enough to cool off in the Lanzarote sunshine, yet warm enough that getting in was always a pleasure rather than a shock. I spent many happy hours by the pool, and I should mention the man that came to clean the pool, he did an excellent job and was very friendly. The villa is in an excellent location, offering peace and tranquillity while still being conveniently close to everything the island has to offer. I hired a car, which made it easier to get around, and supermarkets such as Spar, Hiperdino, and Lidl are all within around a 10-minute drive. I'd recommend having a car if you want to see more of the island, although taxis are reasonably priced if you prefer not to drive. The hospitality was exceptional. I had a small issue connecting to the Wi-Fi when I arrived, but Carlos responded quickly and came to the rescue, resolving everything without any fuss. His friendliness and willingness to help really added to the experience. Overall, this villa exceeded my expectations, and it offers the perfect combination of comfort, space, tranquillity, and a fantastic location, complemented by genuinely thoughtful hospitality. I had a wonderful holiday and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
