Las Caletas Village

We had a fantastic stay for our family holiday! The Villa is beautiful, everything you need is provided, the villa was super clean when we arrived & the property has a lovely relaxing, homely and private feel to it. The Garden area was so lovely & was where we spent most of our holiday chilling out. I would definitely recommend this villa for a family/ group stay. Also the host was super helpful and made the instructions super clear upon arrival.

Overall a really great stay but just a couple of things to consider… I’d say the location is good but it is a little bit out from the town and any restaurants, so I would definitely recommend getting a hire car (we hired ours from booking.com before we came out, it was an easy process & for a decent price tbf) to help you get around unless you don’t mind walking into the main town (walk is about 45mins each way but the drive is literally 5minutes away.) The property is near the sea but not by the beach as the beach is in the main town bit so again I think getting a hire car makes it easier if you like to get around to different places but the garden area with the pool is fab so we had quite a few day around there anyway! We went in April time so it was still hot but not peak season so we just found the swimming pool was ice cold at times, a bit too cold to get in sometimes so maybe if the pool was heated it would be more enjoyable. And just the last note the washing machine I wouldn’t recommend putting any items of value in there as I washed one of my nice white jackets in the washing machine & the machine ended up leaving all marks and stains over my jacket which i was gutted about so just be careful! But as far the villa itself we had a fab time :)

It was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, the outside area was fantastic, it was super quiet. Small Issues reported (no chopping board and issues with en suite shower) were dealt with the same day which was fantastic, Carla was lovely to deal with and we were able to arrange a late check out

The pool was freezing, even the kids struggled to play in it for more than 20 minutes at a time. Even in July with an outside temp of 28 the pool was unbearably cold. There was no air con in the second double bedroom and even though we were given fans it made little difference. That room needed air con.

The property was very high standard. It was very clean, we loved the games room and the pool, there was lots of space. It was also great that the property had everything we needed (e.g. washing up liquid, cloths, dishwasher tablets...etc) which meant we didn't have to spend time/money getting these.

There wasn't really anything we didn't like, it really exceeded our expectations.

We had a good stay so I thought.

I received an email saying they were disappointed with us leaving the villa mess. They mentioned leaving the outside lights on and also we cleaned up before leaving so their was two bags of rubbish tied and left outside. Carla the host said this was unacceptable how we had left the villa. I think switching off a light switch and putting a couple of bags in main bin. Whilst our stay we were working. We did not cook once in the kitchen it was spotless. We spent no time on the lower floor just bedrooms. We also pay for a cleaner fee included in booking. Really gutted as we will never stay here again. Be warned if you book make sure you switch lights off and clean everything before you leave. Or book somewhere else and enjoy your self as you are on holiday after all. See pictures for letter received
