Great location. One of the best beds I have slept in and bed linen was very luxurious.

Staircase was very steep and as an older couple, having to use the bathroom in the night and the steep stairs was a little disconcerting.

The location was excellent for us and the property had everything we could possibly need.

Beautiful cottage, well equipped and very, very comfortable. Lovely period features and decor, the beds were clean and very comfortable as was the whole property. Wonderful roll top bath! Very quiet and cosy. The bottle of bubbly, biscuits and fresh milk were a wonderful touch! Excellent location for exploring. There is an Italian restaurant only a five minute walk away and it was excellent, two pubs also a five minute walk. We were able to park outside the property. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely love to return!

Only one small thing to mention......... we tried to call the property manager to ask a question but no reply and my call wasn't returned during our stay. It was not a problem in this case as it was not urgent at all, but was a concern if we did have an urgent issue of any kind during our stay. Just worth mentioning as the number was given as an emergency contact.

When we arrived the owner was there to greet us , told us the history of his beautiful renovated 16th century home .

There were 2 houses on the site my son and his family stayed in one and our granddaughter was able to go between each house safely .
