CIELO Siargao

The design and furniture were really good, most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. The sofa is also really nice and comfy. Good kitchen with all you need to make yourself a meal. Nice view from the window and really close to the beach.

The room itself was amazing and one of the best rooms I’ve stayed in during my time in Siargao! They were very accommodating to our needs. The location is also really great, super close to Cloud 9 and not far from the main general luna area. Would highly recommend this apartment :)

There was nothing I could say that was wrong with this property. Highly recommend it!

Very comfortable well located property

General Luna had a water shortage during the time we stayed. This is typical for the island and was sorted out, and compensated by the property owners.

The two apartments were available for our stay. Pretty, exceptionally clean, very accessible, easy to find. It was nice to think we had our own private place in Siargao. Egg carton mattresses were interesting but allowed us to have a good night's sleep.

1. Shower head gave us trouble on the first day. It was a trickle coming out. No ideal for a beach holiday. 2. Window louvers fell off when I opened the window to get fresh air. This became a problem since there are no mosquito netting so option for ventilation is quite limited in the property. 3. The electricial wiring was done in such a way that the ceiling fan cannot be used unless the room lights are on (so it's not evven an option if you want to just sleep with the fan.) 4. Water supply is a huge issue early morning and from 4 to 7 pm. Be ready to run out of water at mid-shower. I asked for a classic bucket and dipper (balde at tabo) from the property host as this was the only stress-free solution to get through this. 5. Not enough drying racks. The place was instagram pretty but can do with more practical aspects for guests willing to pay the costs of the property and actually enjoy it. 6. The smell from the open kitchen next door (and maybe the restaurant in front) got trapped in the apartments. The air inside was stale when we arrived. I had to look for some air freshener and dehumidifier (out of desperation) to get rid of the cooking oil smell. This was very difficult to source on our first night. The property manager provided some air freshener the next day. It did it's job for the rest of our stay but it was necessary to keep the aircon on (unfortunately, not very sustainable in a place where electricity is also costly).
