7 on Churchill Guest House

Could not have been happier with our stay at 7 on Churchill Guest House. The guest house is situated with a beautiful view on the valley, wonderfully renovated to combine both modern elements, while keeping the heritage feel of the building.

The breakfast spread on the first day was amazing but it was limited on the second day.

Great hospitality from the start. Bridget was absolutely amazing and very accommodating during the booking process. Stephanie, the host, was also wonderful to deal with kind, welcoming, and genuinely wholesome. The room was beautiful, very clean, and comfortable. We booked the king room and the shower worked perfectly.

Guests are not allowed to eat in the room, which was not communicated beforehand. There is no air conditioning, only a fan. The pool was dirty and unusable. The owner, Tim, was not very friendly and seemed annoyed that we were having a braai, which we had confirmed both before booking and again on arrival. He approached us without greeting and questioned when we checked in, then immediately walked away and sent someone to lock the door that separates the house from the outside braai area. This effectively left us locked outside, forcing me to walk around the property through bushes to get back inside for items needed for the braai, which felt rude and uncomfortable as a paying guest.
