This was by far the Best guesthouse I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean. Breakfast was out of this world. Thank you to the staff for the warm welcome and all the laughs. You ladies are fantastic. If you are looking for a home away from home, Southey House is the place for you!! See you again soon!!

Breakfast was a 10/10, Beautiful view that overlooked Kloof/Durban
The Wi-Fi needs some minor improvements.
Currently, we have two SSIDs broadcasting, but only "UpStairs" is actually working. Since the ground-floor broadcast is not working, the signal strength and speeds downstairs are taking a hit.

I like the friendly staff, location, breakfast
My room was not clean. I ended up cleaning the bathroom surfaces with wet wipes, mirrors were dirty. Shower curtain had mildew. Tablecloths were filthy and headboards are disgusting, i will think twice to book there again.
