Amazing welcome Lovely room

Food options were limited but we did arrive quite late

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the general decoration, design and standard of the furnishings. The room was an adequate size with a very comfortable bed and plenty of sockets etc.

Only a couple of comments, there was no shower gel supplied in the bathroom, good job we had brought our own. Also, not much of a view from the room window, although this is obviously due to the design of the hotel and extension.

The property was in a beautiful location and exceptionally clean. Our room felt brand new, all the decor, fixtures and fittings in perfect condition. Although we were situated at the furthest point from the reception, restaurant and bar; all were easily accessible, nothing too far away. The reception staff were friendly and helpful.

As we were meeting up with friends, all living some distance apart, it was a shame the bar shut at 11pm. Other hotel bars usually stay open for guests staying at property.

I was staying over for a work event next day up the road, so not local and arrived after a very long drive. Lovely location, very clean and greeted well on arrival, with easy parking. I was showed to my room and any questions I asked, were answered. The room was very modern, just the right size with a really decent sized and modern bathroom ( shower with good pressure and hot ). All the room compliments were there and I had food in the restaurant that evening and not only was the service very good by the young Lady, but the food was really good, fresh, hot and tasty. Even the Wi-Fi was solid, which can be very 50/50 in rural locations at other hotels. I had a good nights sleep and although I couldn't fit breakfast in, when I checked out the Lady and young chap on reception again Happy, helpful and polite.

Only, and this really is being picky issue wise, I couldn't load up Netlfix on the tv. Also a small gym would be a consideration going forward.
