There wasn't enough tea and sugar in the room ,and the bathroom was very small, considering the size on the room

Rooms overlooking the sea were comfortable and well appointed. Quiet (it was March so off-season)
Previous customers, having cleared their plates (!!!), complained about the food, demanded their money back (and got it). They said the food was terrible and recommended we go to another pub.
We followed their advice while wondering at the same time, if the food was that bad how come they cleared their plates?
We did have breakfast the following day and that was OK. Not great. Just OK.
