The size of the apartment is super excellent, especially with the price. The bathroom and toilet are spotless and very modern. Amenities such as towels, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, razors and toothbrush are provided. The beds are 140cm wide if I'm not mistaken, which are considered huge in Japan. The location is in the very quiet pocket of Kyobashi, particularly in the Higashinoda area. Access to both JR and Keihan stations is an easy 7-10 minute walk on flat roads. Access to Osaka station, Umeda precinct and Tenjinbashisuji shopping street is an easy bus ride no 36 from the bus stop that's less than 5 minutes walk. There's a local supermarket near the apartment that would cater for daily needs, including ready to eat food. There are a few restaurants we tried and can recommend, such as an excellent Hakata style tonkatsu ramen, japanised Chinese restaurant, Yayoiken and of course Coco Ichibanya. There are also plenty of other izakaya types restaurants. There's a very affordable hairdresser just around the corner that both my wife and daughter went to get their hair done and they loved the service and price. I am very happy with the host communication via Line or Booking.com messaging service.

It's more about adjusting your expectations so you don't get disappointed too much, not so much of complaints. The beds are double foam, not spring beds but still very comfortable. Thin insulation between the floor, so you can hear people walking upstairs. It's quite common in Japan apartments apparently, so hopefully you get conscientious neighbours during your stay. The towels provided are also the quick dry, micro fibre types, which require some getting used to. But with the price we were charged with, I still can highly recommend this apartment wholeheartedly.
