The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The location was good and convenient. Although our room was technically on the second floor, the windows opened directly onto street level. During our two-night stay, there were people standing outside several times talking and smoking. Even with the windows closed, we could clearly hear the conversations and unfortunately smell the cigarette smoke quite strongly. We didn’t end up cooking, but the kitchen supplies were very limited. We couldn’t find a knife to cut an apple or peel an orange with thick skin — only scissors were available. There were just two cups, two glasses, some chopsticks, and a few spoons. The kitchen included one frying pan and a single-burner stove. I imagine cooking a full meal would be challenging, though preparing something simple would probably be manageable. There was a teapot for boiling water, but we did not see a coffee maker. Overall, the room was reasonably priced for the location, and considering that, we felt it was worth it.
