The Honey Comb was in a central location, easy, short walk into town and very peaceful. John was helpful and friendly. The tent was well equipped and the bed comfortable

John. And the energy he brings into the accommodation. First of all, we felt very welcomed, everything was explained thoroughly on arrival so we felt safe and relaxed coming there. Secondly, even though we stayed in a tent for almost a week, it was more comfortable than most of hotels. The bed was giant and has an electric warm blanket underneath. There was a fridge and a kettle (spring water also available), as well as oats for breakfast. The common bathroom was very clean and always accessible when needed. Unfortunately, one of us got sick during the stay and we are very grateful for John's hospitality in this regard. The Epson salt bath came in very handy. If you are looking for a simpler place to stay in Glastonbury in close proximity to everything - this is a great choice.

There was a pillow that was really uncomfortable to sleep on but it wasn't a problem because John kindly offered to switch it.

We moved to a room inside the house which was a vast improvement and was very clean.The host was very kind.

Glamping is a massive stretch. It is 4 large tents pitched very close to each other in someone's standard sized back garden in the middle of a housing estate.. I was impressed that he managed to fit so much in a small space. This is a housing estate so no views.and no private space what so ever. You can hear everyone and everything. I wanted to cry and go home when I saw where we were staying. Luckily a space inside the house became vailable and we paid extra to upgrade. Inside was clean and warm but still consisted of the host maximising the space to it's fullest. It is value for money as long as you clearly manage your expectations.
