The Aurelian

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à The Aurelian ! 😊 Tout était parfait, avec une mention spéciale pour le petit-déjeuner, vraiment excellent et copieux. La fille et sa maman sont des personnes adorables, accueillantes et toujours prêtes à rendre service. On s’est vraiment sentis très bien accueillis pendant tout notre séjour. Une très belle adresse à Ella que nous recommandons sans hésiter ! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

La vue incroyable, le côté très paisible de l’endroit, calme. Le service est également excellent et le petit déjeuner vraiment délicieux. L’emplacement est très bien, à 15min à pieds de la ville, ce qui permet de rester au calme dans la jungle

Le matelas est un peu trop dur, les oreilles moyennement confortables. Le lit grince beaucoup.

The view from the room and balcony was stunning. The room had its own private Wi-Fi router, making the internet one of the fastest and most reliable we experienced in Sri Lanka.

The property is in a very secluded area next to a railway track, quite far from the city. Due to the poor road conditions, PickMe drivers often don't accept rides, so we had to book tuk-tuks through the owner at roughly twice the usual cost. Walking at night isn't practical because the area is surrounded by forest, with no streetlights and the presence of leeches. Communication with the host was sometimes challenging due to the language barrier, which led to repeated misunderstandings. The breakfast was dry, as coconut roti was served without any curry. When we tried to raise this issue, the host misunderstood our concern.
