Mango Shadow Inn Ella 800m To Ella city 1 Night OK

The Mango Shadow Inn was one of the best stays we have had during our 4 week Sri Lanka vacation. The room is super clean and has very good facilities, the bed was incredibly comfortable and had a big blanket! WiFi worked and was quite fast. The breakfast was top notch, it‘s classical Sri Lankan Hoppers, Roti, Juice and plenty of fresh fruit. You have a lovely view over the mountains from the breakfast table. The host was amazing. He offered help for everything, gave us advice on what to do in and around Ella and even helped carry our bags up to the homestay. I would highly recommend you book this place!

It is a bit far away from Ella Town ~1km. We rented a scooter so it didn’t bother us at all, but be prepared to walk a little bit.

Un peu excentré, mais un raccourci par le chemin de fer nous met à 10 minutes à pied du centre

Hoewel de accommodatie zelf eenvoudig is, maakt het prachtige uitzicht dat meer dan goed. Iedere ochtend genoten we van een heerlijk ontbijt en de verse smoothies waren echt fantastisch! Vanaf het balkon zie je vlak voor je neus de apen door de bomen slingeren, wat echt een unieke ervaring is. Via het spoor loop je zo naar het gezellige centrum van Ella. Wij hebben alles te voet gedaan, naar de Nine Arch Bridge, Little Adam’s Peak en naar de leuke restaurants en cafés. Ella zelf is een geweldige plek met een ontspannen sfeer. Absoluut een aanrader!
