Cestari Luxury Terraces

There is so much to like about this place. It's immaculately clean. (I mean spotless.) There is tons of room in the two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment. The main bathroom had a whirlpool bath, which is useful after long days exploring. Plenty of towels and other essentials. The sunroom and terrace were terrific for relaxing. The kitchen was stocked with necessities. The hosts have seriously thought of everything to make our stay perfect. The location is perfect, too. It's a short walk to all the major sites in Rome, and there are a bunch of Lime scooters just a half block away. Across the street is the taxi stand, and next door is a small grocery. The location made getting around Rome and doing everything we wanted super easy. I feel like we got very lucky finding this place. Most importantly, the next time we come to Rome, this is where we will stay.

I have no complains,

I loved that the apartment is right in the middle of the action! You walk out of the front door and within three minutes you're looking at the Pantheon 😄 It's a fantastic base to explore the city, while also being a reasonably quiet place to go back to. There are lots of awesome points to the interior: the kitchen is well equipped, the main bathroom is brilliant with the spa bath that was loved by all 😁 the showers are also brilliant, and I liked that there were bath robes provided in addition to towels. I also liked that there were laundry pods supplied for the washing machine - a very nice touch, I thought! There are smart TVs in both bedrooms and in the dining space. The conservatory space was a great place to chill and the terrace is HUGE, with a fantastic view. I really loved the outdoor shower idea too! You can tell that there has been a lot of thought put into the presentation of the entire apartment. Lastly, I want to say thank you to Francesca for being the most lovely and attentive host ever. She responded quickly and fixed any issues immediately, with a friendly "can do" attitude. We all appreciated her efforts and she made our stay that little bit more special than it already was, so thanks again🙏🏽

It's hard to be objective about the apartment being "good value for money" because Rome itself is crazily expensive. Honestly, I did feel that I paid too much for what I received (even though it was great), but that isn't necessarily to the detriment of this particular apartment, rather of the whole economic environment in the city. Also, I would have liked there to have been an oven instead of a microwave, but it didn't really matter because we ate out pretty much all the time! 😁 I wasn't a fan of the metal framed bed (and headboard) in the ensuite room due to its potential to alert the neighbour in the next bedroom to your intimate activities 🙈 Thankfully, it wasn't a problem because my partner and I were able to opt for the second bedroom which had a solid bed 😅 but maybe something to consider if you're traveling as two couples and both need some privacy.
