Thalpathwewa Cave Temple

Nous avons passé seulement deux jours ici, mais nous repartons avec le cœur rempli de souvenirs. Notre hôte nous a accueillis avec une gentillesse et une générosité rares. Il a pris soin de nous comme si nous étions de sa famille et a tout fait pour rendre notre séjour inoubliable. Nos enfants étaient tellement heureux et ont adoré chaque moment. 🥰 Merci également à toutes les personnes du village pour leur accueil, leurs sourires et leur bienveillance. Nous recommandons cet endroit les yeux fermés à tous ceux qui souhaitent découvrir le Sri Lanka autrement, avec le cœur. Merci du fond du cœur pour ces deux jours. Nous partons, mais une petite partie de notre cœur reste ici ❤️

The peace and serenity ❤️❤️ Lost in a forest with just listening to bird songs and wind. Nothing can be compare to be same as this spiritual and peaceful experience.

Please note the facilities are very basic. However it has to be basic facilities otherwise it wouldn’t be the same. It’s not a complain, in fact it’s a compliment

It was a very special experience to be able to stay here. This place has a truly wonderful atmosphere. The room, which is embedded in the rock, was very clean, and we experienced great and warm-hearted hospitality. The food was excellent and nothing was left to be desired. We truly feel very lucky that we had the chance to be here. If we travel to Sri Lanka again, we will definitely stay here longer than just one night.

This is a very special place, not like any other. The person in charge is a young monk; he's so kind and helping. I guess we were the first guests. They went out of their way to get everything ready in time. Be prepared for a very basic accommodation: no thick soft mattresses, no comfortable bathrooms, no luxury. But next to that the beauty and purity of this place is unparalleled. You can see how simple life can be in a cave monastery. Some of our group decided to sleep in a cave. The food was prepared by village people and was outstanding.
