The Space:
This West Beach home sits within a very short walk (200 yards) of the beach. 370 Red Bay is a five-bedroom, four-bathroom home that accommodates up to eight people with two king-size beds and four twin beds. There are two bedrooms upstairs (a king guest room and another guest room with two twin beds), each with its own bath. On the lower floor, there's a main bedroom with a king-size bed and its own bathroom, as well as another bedroom with a pair of twin beds that shares the fourth bathroom, and a queen bedroom. Additional features include multiple decks, a gas grill, three TVs (including a 42-inch TV in the family room), Blu-ray and DVD players, wireless internet, a two-person tub, and an updated kitchen renovated in 2012. This home has parking for up to three cars.
This non-smoking vacation rental property includes parking, 24-hour security in a gated community, central air conditioning, cable TV, internet, a DVD player, a fully equipped kitchen, a washer and dryer, linens and bath towels, a departure housekeeping service, and a starter supply of paper products and detergents.

This was our 5th trip to Kiawah, and this home is perfect for a family with a bunch of kids. The open spaces, numerous bedrooms, and great kitchen were exactly what was needed. The home is on a quiet street backing to a pond and was a short and easy walk to the beach even for our younger kids. I hope we can stay here again on our next trip to Kiawah.

TVs have streaming capability.
Property did not provide any beach toys or equipment which was a first in our eight trips to Kiawah. No access to the garage.

First of all the location of the house is amazing. It literally is a very quick walk to a beach access that was pretty deserted. The house bedrooms and layout was conducive to having multiple people. The house definitely needs a refresh. It has very old worn out throw rugs and that really needs repainting on walls and trim. You can tell it has been well used. The reason we rented the house was because it had essentially two Master suites. There was one master suite in an addition area, which is really large and has a very nice bathroom. Unfortunately, that whole addition part of the house which includes the master suite and an additional den is extremely humid and musty. The furniture in the secondary den is very worn out and stained. The primary den has a really large sectional, but it is also very stained and worn out. The other bedrooms are comfortable, but the large master suite was so humid, it was almost impossible to sleep in. We talked to management and they said that they could not bring a dehumidifier. They also said they had not heard of that problem before which I find extremely hard to believe.They had offered to bring a portable air conditioner, but then never did. I would stay at this house again due to the house, layout and location if they install a dehumidifier. There is a really large dehumidifier in one bedroom, which is extremely loud and if it works -only serves 1/2 of the house. The other half of the house is way too humid.
