Welcome to your dream Charleston beach vacation rental at 116 Surfscoter Lane, nestled in the highly sought-after West Beach neighborhood of the Kiawah Island Golf Resort. This lovely and spacious 4 bedroom home boasts a private plunge pool and is just a short 5-minute walk from the beach.
The gourmet kitchen is a chef's delight, featuring granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, custom cabinetry, and a butcher block island/breakfast bar with seating for two. The dining area comfortably seats eight. The main living area is designed for relaxation, with vaulted, trussed ceilings, luxurious leather chairs, a large sofa, and expansive windows overlooking the pool. French doors lead to a furnished deck and screened porch with a table that seats four, ideal for outdoor gatherings. The picnic table on the open pool deck is perfect for summer grilling.
The first-floor master suite is a tranquil retreat, offering a king-sized bed, a lavish private bathroom with a garden tub, separate shower, dual vanities, and direct access to the screened porch. Upstairs, a cozy den awaits with a TV, comfortable chairs, and a sleeper sofa. The three additional bedrooms include a queen bedroom with private shower bathroom, a bedroom with a twin-over-full bunk bed and private tub/shower bathroom, and another queen bedroom with private walk-in shower bathroom.
For added entertainment, there is an extra-large TV in the main living space for all your special viewing, streaming and gaming and there is a new 55" smart TV in both the second floor den area and master bedroom. For a little fun, there is a foosball table in the game room located on the main living floor! And for comfort, there is an outdoor shower to clean off after a sandy day at the beach, and the pool features an gas heater, allowing for warm swims in the spring and fall months. Great floor plan. En suite bathrooms made the stay very comfortable. Room in driveway for 4 cars, and the foyer on ground level was a big enough drop zone for golf clubs and such if needed. We didn’t use the pool (off season). The only details lacking were minor (a few small kitchen essentials, bathrooms fans either noisy or not appearing to be functional, etc). Extra bedding bedding was nice. Short walk to beach (and there’s a path at the west end of the street not shown on Google Maps). Electronic keypad made for good ease of access.

This house was perfect for our family's holiday week! Great living spaces, well-appointed kitchen, and wonderful location...quiet street, a minimal walk to beach and super easy access to bike trails. We especially enjoyed the large kitchen table for family meals and game nights and definitely appreciated the stocked soap, body wash and shampoo in bathrooms. Thank you for a fabulous week!

Nice home as advertised but parking is very limited for a house of its size..also cooking utensils were limited. There were no coffee pots for the drip machines and no k cups for the single cup machine. Several loose and rotted spindles around pool which can be a hazard. Also some very soft spots in floor in high traffic areas which need attention.
