Fantastic facilities -- clean and stocked with all sorts of nice stuff to eat & drink. Even a bottle of wine. Toilet was clean, shower stocked with big bottles of gel, shampoo and soap. Fireplace to make a nice cosy fire, plus you can BBQ (braai) there. Free supply of wood and starter wood!

This place has everything and more for a weekend getaway. Above all, the host was incredibly humble and made us feel right at home. In our opinion, you get more than what you pay for.

Very well equipped, very spacious. Lovely garden. Very helpful and considerate owner John. Great attention to details. Great off street parking.
The access gate, although manageable, is not ideal.

Beautiful house and the Asian garden is beautiful. John is an amazing host.
There was a huge storm that killed all electricity to Tulbagh for 3 days, however John was very accommodating
