Like staying in a museum, where time stood still. For anyone who has the slightest interest in Cape Dutch architecture and history - do not miss. One of the most beautiful streets in South Africa!

The garden shed is a very small room, as advertised. Its perfect for an overnight business trip. The additional breakfast (R150) was delicious and excellent value. The location is perfectly central. The decor and style of the whole property is just divine.
The garden shed room has a bit of a musty smell, but i think its because its at the same level and directly next to the pool. There was a social gathering at the pool when I got in around 10:45pm on the Wednesday night but it dispersed and quietened down completely within 15 minutes of me arriving, so all good.

We were in Tulbagh for a wedding and the location from the guesthouse to the venue was good. Quaint street with a lot of history and character. Lovely breakfast in a beautiful dining area with a lot of interesting art and objects.
The cottage we stayed in was not very clean. Pool was green and unusable and garden area generally messy.
