L' emplacement est idéal au coeur de la vieille ville. Le palazzo est superbe mais très décrépi, une restauration importante serait nécessaire . Reste que c'est un privilège de pouvoir habiter un palais génois.
L'appartement moderne est clair et bien aménagé, le lit confortable, mais l'équipement est limité au strict nécessaire. Une théière, un saladier, quelques verres à vin...seraient les bienvenus. Les fenêtres sont très hautes et difficiles à ouvrir malgré l'escabeau mis à disposition et les stores à enrouleur sont très défectueux, de même que la poignée de porte de la salle de bains. Enfin il faut souligner l'importance des nombreuses marches très hautes pour gagner l'appartement ce qui peut rendre l'accès difficile pour certains voyageurs. Mais c'est le prix à payer pour habiter un palais historique ! A noter la gentillesse et l'extrême disponibilité des hôtes.
