Nice area. Lovely cottage. Clean and tidy with good facilities. Good base to get into the Peak District. Ashbourne has everything you need locally. Good food and pubs nearby.

Keys were in the key safe and no issues finding it.
Location was perfect for what we needed and close to the shops.
Lounge was comfortable and TV worked (we have stayed in places where the TV hasn't).
Fans in the rooms were appreciated as it was warm (phew).
Took a while to find it but directions couldn't have been any clearer.
A little TLC needed on entrance/front garden - we didn't go into the back so can't comment on that.
Kitchen cupboard doors were sticking and some of the cutlery was stained.
Nothing major - just some minor things.

The cottage was clean and comfortable with a very usable kitchen and a nice living room. The location was outstanding, just steps from the main square.
It was a little difficult for us to find the cottage. It's down an alleyway and you need to go through a gate on the side of the alley and then up some steps to the somewhat concealed front gate to the cottage.
