Nice accommodation. Stylish.

Accommodation wasn't the cleanest. Dirty kitchen floor & counters. Dusty sofa. Dead insects & cobwebs. Extremely noisy in the evening despite windows, secondary glazing & curtains being closed.

Fantastic location with stunning rooms. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the beds were comfortable. There was no breakfast, but due to the kitchen and Sainsbury's being close by, this was not an issue at all. The only true letdown for me was the lack of proper ventilation in the accommodation; even if there wasn't a heatwave, the rooms would have been too warm, but during this recent heatwave, the rooms were unbearably hot. not a good stay

Given the cost of the room, there was no air conditioning or ability to open windows to let in sufficient air. I understand that the windows were limited for safety reasons, but to have no air conditioning in those rooms facing the sun was awful. Especially seeing as the actual pub area was air-conditioned. It was also quite noisy due to the pub over the road not closing till after 2am, but I understand that this is outside of the Machine Inn's control. All of us did not get any sleep and this didn't help when we had to do a long drive back home.

Comfortable apartment suite with all the amenities for cooking.

No parking at property. Would have been good if it was more clear that there was no breakfast available at the property. However, lots of cafes close by. Can recommend the Bear.
