Liberty House

Great location with lots of room in the house. The house was decorated very nicely to reflect the historic nature of the area and really comfortable.

Parking was a faff as it is either 2 hours free and no return within an hour (Traffic Warden patrolled regularly) of find a space on an unadapted road at the bottom of the lane. It’s only an issue between 1100 and 1600 and no issue at all if you are away for the day and take the car.

We loved the decor and the location and the mattress in the pink bedroom was super comfy would love to k ow what the mattress was. I have a bad back and normally suffer sleeping in other beds but slept comfortably here.

No parking, Wi-Fi slow and couldn’t find any scissors in the kitchen

location was excellant.Only a short walk to the town centre.The property was very well decorated,the kitchen had all the equipment you might need and plenty of crockery,glasses etc.The bed was big and comfortable and the room was spacious and well appointed.Bath was luxurious and the shower large and efficient.In short,everything was provided for a very comfortable and pleasant stay.

There was nothing to dislike.

Liberty house is an excellent location to explore Ashbourne. It is beautifully decorated in a comfy, eclectic way. Despite the town being on our doorstep, it was pleasantly quiet at night. It was also blissfully cool in the heatwave! The host was kind enough to leave a bottle of wine in the fridge, (thank you) and plenty of tea / coffee. We were staying for a family wedding, so unfortunately we weren't in the house for much time, but we would definitely recommend and hire again.
