This apartment is a hidden gem. It’s very close to central Florence - just a meander down the hill, over the Ponte Vecchio bridge and you’re right in the midst of it. The road is quiet and yet so close to eateries, cafes and bars. The views from our apartment (Il Maggio) were astounding! The huge, picture window looks to the river and the balcony to the sunset, and the Duomo, over the terracotta rooftops. We were stunned! The apartment is well appointed with a small but well-equipped kitchen, a dining table, a comfortable sofa and a good sized bed. The bathroom has a pleasant shower. The air conditioning is quiet. Yes, it’s up a fairly steep hill but it’s definitely worth the climb for the spectacular views! The instructions for the property access and the use of items like the coffee machine were simple and clear. We were beyond delighted that we had chosen this property. We had our morning coffee and evening wine sitting on the balcony in absolute bliss. I cannot recommend it highly enough! We very much hope to stay here again, next time we visit the magical city of Florence.

Absolutely everything about this apartment was lovely.

Such a unique and pretty apartment with the most incredible views. There are a lot of stairs to get to the apartment but the climb is more than worth it. Every window has an amazing view and the rooftop balcony was very pleasant. We could see the Duomo, the Uffizi, sections of Bobboli gardens, Ponte Vecchio, gardens of Piazzale Michelangelo, etc… one of the most unique places we have ever stayed at. The staff was great and very helpful.

The most beautiful apartment, everything is perfect from the second you enter the front door. Stunning terrace and super helpful hosts, you couldn’t ask for anything more.

Nothing! Although the short but very steep hill up to the building might be too much for some!
