Delabere House - Luxury Cotswolds Holiday Apartments

Literally two minutes from train station and bus stop or neighboring towns. Cozy, clean, quiet. Host was super accommodating and communicative about my request for early check in and check out. Great hot water, lovely towels, plenty of space. Can’t beat the location for sure.

I let the property manager know that a second inside lock for the ground floor unit would be reassuring especially for single female travelers.

Exceptional location. One minute to the train station and bus stop (for many destinations), only a few minutes to a grocery store, and just one block to the main street in this very charming village. The hosts were always very quick to reply to any questions. They kindly changed the perfume-scented bed linens to ones that had been washed with scent-free detergent after the first set caused my wife’s severe asthma and allergies to kick in. We put the highly scented room deodorizer sticks in the bathroom under the kitchen sink, but there was nothing that could be done about the sheets without a washer in the apartment. So we really appreciated their understanding. Easy lockbox to get keys for self check-in. Good wifi. Nicely equipped kitchen. Quiet street, even with the window by the bed facing it. All in all, we recommend staying here.

No shampoo!?! Only body wash in the shower. Did not expect that because the description noted free toiletries. Too many decorative and extra pillows with very little surface space or storage space to put them out of the way. Wall to wall carpeting that started at the entrance to the apartment. The nice vinyl planks in the kitchen could have extended to the front of the entry door.

The interior was clean and fresh and it felt safe for a solo traveler. For what it cost there could have been a bit more coffee, and some creamer to go with it. They did have sugar. The appliances were very nice and clean. The bed was really comfortable.

It was a bit expensive for what you got - there was no outside area to sit and relax.

Clean, comfortable, excellent location!
