I called the phone twice when I arrived and when I didn’t have hot water and they told me to message them instead. That made the communication so slow and difficult specially when we didn’t have hot water at 7pm. They were asking obvious questions and not tackling the problem straight away so we actually left for dinner without knowing if we’d have hot water that night. Turned out a fuse was off and they fixed it while we were out. Pressure in the shower was too low and water lukewarm. Stairs ate very steep and not shown properly on the photos. We were young but for elderly people or people with limited mobility would be very hard to climb the stairs to the second floor with the double beds.

Steep steps to the top floor

The cottage is really sweet and right on the high street - the garden space was great and the living room and bedrooms were spacious. Ideal for a short stay.

We struggled with the hot water in the shower - we were travelling for a hike and having no hot water for the first day and partially the second day was quite irritating but that was the only issue. Everything else was fine. Also a note for the steepness of the stairs would have been great.
