Location and the property
I called the phone twice when I arrived and when I didn’t have hot water and they told me to message them instead. That made the communication so slow and difficult specially when we didn’t have hot water at 7pm. They were asking obvious questions and not tackling the problem straight away so we actually left for dinner without knowing if we’d have hot water that night. Turned out a fuse was off and they fixed it while we were out. Pressure in the shower was too low and water lukewarm. Stairs ate very steep and not shown properly on the photos. We were young but for elderly people or people with limited mobility would be very hard to climb the stairs to the second floor with the double beds.

It was a fantastic stay and we loved it. It was very charming and decorated very cute. We loved the character of it. Excellent kitchen.
A few more supplies would have made our stay better. We needed more toilet paper, firewood, washcloths, one more plate in the kitchen, and would have liked larger bedspreads on the twin beds.

The cottage is absolutely beautiful and situated perfectly for walking into town
There was no hot water for a bath on either night and despite 2 messages sent about this (one of which was completely ignored) this was not rectified.
Also the property is listed as having parking but when you look into it it’s actually just near a small, free carpark in the town centre so expect to spend 20 minutes each time you arrive back driving round looking for a space
