Contemporary Private En-Suite - Steps to Cleveland Clinic

Such a hidden gem! Tidy, airy, scrupulously clean. The family who run it are such nice people, very polite and welcoming. The downstairs space is modern and beautiful, and the clientele are mostly low-key professionals. I could work or relax exactly as I wanted. Note, the security was excellent too. Location for access to Case Western was very good; for the medical centers, couldn't be better. A very large grocery store is close by.

Very, very few quibbles. Please understand, this is a lovely place. 1) The mattress was a bit squishy for my taste. 2) The downstairs lavatory was out of paper. I'm sorry I forgot to mention it while there! 3) No teaspoons =)

My husband had cardiac surgery at Cleveland Clinic and I stayed here while he was in the ICU. The location is amazing - not a ton farther than the parking garage I think and with the construction I could walk back faster than drive anywhere. The room is clean and spacious, house is cute, and the bathroom was big with a great shower. I never used the kitchen and never saw any other guests but I knew they were there sometimes if I heard someone walking upstairs. There is a lock on the front door and another on the door of my room so I felt safe the whole time. One night when he had complications I ended up walking back at 4:45 am and the whole street was well lit so I felt safe. Some houses in the area are a bit rough but most are well-cared for so I didn’t feel unsafe even when alone as a woman.

There is parking that is fenced in which is nice. I didn’t know how to park and stay out of everyone else’s way though. There is room to park for sure but some is a rock surface off the driveway and I didn’t know if I should park there or not. No other guests had a car so it didn’t end up mattering. Maybe put up a sign or something if it is ok to park on the rocky part.
