About this house rental

This beautiful Hay Loft conversion makes a luxurious rural holiday home with vaulted ceilings two double bedrooms with king-size beds and underfloor heating throughout, making it a popular choice for families and friends to base themselves in comfort while exploring the delights of rural and coastal Norfolk.
The Hay Loft is a sensitively restored property, which has been part of the adjoining farm since the 1960s. As the name suggests, it was used to store hay along with other farm produce from potatoes to corn. The master bedroom was formerly used for farrowing sows and their piglets. The owners have cleverly maintained the integrity of the building, whilst retaining many original features, and given it a new lease of life.

The impressive open plan living area with stunning vaulted ceiling showcases the original oak trusses, and is flooded with light from the full height windows and glazed French doors to the front, arrow slit windows, roof light and further French doors out to the courtyard garden. This is a wonderful space to relax together as a family, creating tasty meals in the well equipped kitchen, eating together around the large dining table and relaxing on the comfy sofas, watching the large flat screen TV or reading a book. There are two double bedrooms, both with king-size beds. Downstairs, the master bedroom has a vaulted ceiling, doors out to the courtyard garden and an en-suite shower room. Bedroom two is on the mezzanine level, overlooking the main living area.. The luxurious family bathroom with bath and separate shower is on the ground floor.

Outside The Hay Loft is approached from a quiet country lane and surrounded by farmland in rural north Norfolk. You may be able to spot deer and birds of prey while sipping a sundowner on your patio, a fully enclosed area with dining furniture to the rear of the property. Cromer with its famous pier and golden sands is a short drive away as well as many other beautiful beaches on north Norfolk’s diverse coastline. The National Trust properties of Blickling and Felbrigg Hall are also close by. There is parking for two cars to the front of the property.

The Hay Loft is one of two beautiful barn conversions, adjacent to each other, yet completely separate and each with their own wonderful character. It can also be booked alongside neighbouring Snipe Meadow Barn.
