Parisian-Inspired 2BR Apartment on Calea Victoriei - High Ceilings Stylish Design & Central Location

The location was great, in the old town, near a bus stop. The building is old but the apartment is modern, clean and comfortable. Furniture and fittings are all new. The rooms are spacious with high ceilings. Nice bathroom and kitchen. There are no views but it's OK.

The property is a good size for four people to move about in , 1st bedroom huge and bathroom etc can accommodate well. The second bedroom is small the bed is a tight squeeze and no space along the sides. No place to put your case and once on the floor you have no real space to move. I was alone in that room so not a problem. It’s lacking a few things in the kitchen but it’s all very clean and new so I’d rate that highly. You have simple essentials there. A great touch and although we did t cook it’s good to know we could have. Plenty of toiletries, towels. It’s all to a high standard.

Small 2nd bedroom. Finding the property was a nightmare. I really mean this. Once you’ve found it you do wonder why the instructions could t be easier. On Google map/ photos the building you see is the back and the other shops reference are no use. Even locals couldn’t find it. We were about 4 hours late trying to check in also due to our free booking .com taxi not waiting and then not being able to find the place. Calls to booking.com were unanswered or unable to assist. Giving you 45mins to find a car in an unknown airport is not enough. Border security for non EU , thank you anyone who voted us out … what a mess that was. I’d already written one of us has a mobility issue please ask taxi service to come 15 mins later. This I’ll point out is nothing to do either the accommodation, it was Booking .com. They have still not responded properly to this problem.

An intriguing apartment. Part of a large block of apartments from the belle epoque in various states of repair. Once inside the attraction is obvious. Rooms are large and facilities great, For 2 or 3 persons. This is a great base to explore near and far. It is pretty central and there are planty of cultural sites, restuarants, night clubs and more to keep busy. There are plenty of local shops but by and large - coffe, breakfast, lunch and dinnner are all locally attractive and well priced.

The address details available hid the actual site entrance until you has started the registration/check in connection supplied near to your start day and after you had rendered a lot of personal details. The taxi delivered us to a postcode and had no idea what it meant or where we were entering the complex. From the outside half of the building is falling down and it is not clear that we were in the correct vicinity. ie. we did not know the number on the front door immediately from booking.com. There does need to be an explanatory note that describes the building, the door way and the fact that there are a number of airBB apartments in the building , alongside real residents i.e. you are not entrering a gulag.

It is a very comfortable apartment. The location is very good
