The Space:
Step inside our generous 2 bedroom home, featuring a welcoming living room with dining area, fully equipped kitchen, 1 bathroom & a wonderful balcony overlooking Bucharest and the city centre.
Our home has been designed for group & family travellers for both long term stays as well as short. Here’s an overview of the space:

- 1 full shower for a comfortable experience.
- Blow dryer and a full range of toiletries offered.
• Kitchen
- Fully equipped kitchen with all required pans & cooking ustensil, large fridge, oven, electric hot stove as well as a Nespresso coffee machine.
Guest Access:
Guests are welcome to enjoy full access to the apartment during their stay, with the only exception of a small storage area marked “Staff Only”, used by our team. Depending on the circumstances (e.g. emergencies, parties or complaints from neighbours), there may be times where our team requires entry into the home, especially in cases where the guest is unreachable. Our team will do our best to communicate any such events in advance.
The Neighborhood:
Our home is located right in the heart of the city, next to the main boulevard, Gheorghe Magheru and close to the Old Town. Within a 7-minute radius there are over 100 restaurants, clubs and pubs, plus many shops. Walk in the nearby Icoanei Park, a small yet wonderful park to grab some fresh air.
Getting Around:
Very close to the apartment, at Piata Universitatii, you will find a multitude of ways of transportation. Bus, Taxi, Metro, Bike Rentals and more. More important, you will find that everything is very close, parks, museums & lots of amazing restaurants.
Other Things to Note:
• Please note that for safety & security reasons, our home features both a video doorbell outside of the apartment as well as a noise monitoring system inside helping us prevent any potential disturbances to our neighbours.
• Access to the property is strictly limited to the guests included in the reservation. Unregistered guests are not allowed at any time. Unauthorised access or high-traffic activity (e.g. gatherings, commercial use) will be charged at full occupancy rate and may lead to immediate cancellation without refund.
• We reserve the right to carry out unannounced inspections of our home, if there is suspicion of inappropriate behaviour, illegal activities or possible damage to the space.
• If you require the use of the extendable couch during your stay, please let us know in advance so we can provide the necessary bedding. Since this is prepared only upon request, last-minute notices may not guarantee availability of linens.
• If you are booking for commercial purposes (e.g. photoshoots), kindly notify us in advance with the details of your use of the property, as terms and pricing may vary.
• Guests are required to complete a Check In Form prior to their arrival which includes standard information (e.g. emergency contact number, etc.) as well as submitting a photo ID, as required by law, in accordance with art. 3, paragraph D of law nr. 237 from 2001 regarding guest access and registration in touristic structures.

Monkey Business was very clean and comfortable and also quiet. Five floors up (there's a lift) there was a gentle hum of traffic which faded into the background and absolutely no people noise and, with comfortable beds, we slept well. The host kept in touch before our arrival with detailed information about the check in process and sent a message after arrival to check we had settled in ok. We had no reason to contact him during our stay but felt confident he would have sorted out any issues if necessary. The location was great. There is a bakery on the corner for fresh breakfast croissants and several convenience stores nearby. All the central attractions are within easy walking distance and there is a metro entrance right by the block for more outlying attractions such as the Ceaucescu house. The flat is 1 minute walk from the meeting point for the very popular Transylvania tour which has an early start! We were delighted with the flat and it helped to make our stay very successful.
