Back To The 50's, located in a quiet road in quiet urban neighbourhood is a great spot to stay for those who want to be away from the tourists hordes and feel real central suburban Athens. My apartment had that classic retro feel in terms of decor and was super spacious. The garden outdoor space, with communal tables / benches amongst plants might be what elevates this place as offering a shared, earthy space that brings a peaceful vibe is rare frequently atomised, modern accommodation. Bonus is there's a bakeries, coffee shop and shop within a minute's walk. Metaxou, nearby was a joy for a generous, homely Greek meal with live folk music too!
V small thing. I couldn't get the hob to work for a morning coffee.
