If you enjoy peace and quiet and want to spend a vacation close to nature, you've come to the right place.
The Valentiner vacation home is located in the old village center of Petkum, a suburb of Emden—a typical old East Frisian cottage with modern living standards. From here, you can enjoy the vastness of East Frisia on both sides of the Ems—whether on foot, by bike, while fishing on one of the many canals (with a guest card), or while watching the wild geese. Emden also has plenty to offer culturally (art museum, state museum, ...). A direct route to the Rheiderland leads via the unique Ems ferry from Petkum to the fishing port of Ditzum. The Ems Barrage is just a few minutes away. A great starting point for bike tours or fishing. Parking is available at the house, along with a dry bike storage room, a garden with a terrace, and a barbecue area. High-speed Wi-Fi is, of course, available and suitable for working from home.

Valentiner, Vacation Home:
This approximately 50-square-meter old East Frisian cottage was lovingly renovated in 2016. It offers enough space for 2 people. The first floor features the kitchen, a bathroom with natural light and a bathtub offering a view of the starry sky, and the living room. A spiral staircase leads up to the bright, converted attic. Here you’ll find the bedroom, which you reach through a connecting room with a sleeper sofa. Unfortunately, due to its low ceilings and spiral staircase, the cottage is not wheelchair-accessible and is not suitable for small children. Smoking is not permitted. One parking space is available, and bicycles can be stored in the dry, old pigsty.
Check-in is from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00, and check-out is from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
