About this apartment rental
Our vacation rental is located right in the heart of Emden. The house was built in 1929.

A ground-floor apartment with a view of the Delft. It practically invites you to take an evening stroll along the waterfront and enjoy the peaceful evening atmosphere.
Have you heard of the Matjestage and the Emder Delftfest? Many visitors flock to Emden for these festivals… and you’ll be staying very close by. Once you’ve parked your car, everything is within walking distance. The festivals begin just 100 meters from where you’ll be staying. And to put your mind at ease right away: you’ll still sleep soundly. The apartment, located at the back of the house, offers you absolute peace and quiet.

After passing through our inviting entryway, you’ll enter the kitchen. It was brand-new when we had it installed this year (2020). To preserve the old-world charm, we also chose retro-style appliances. Photos to follow. The large bedroom has a double bed measuring 1.60 m x 2.00 m. The small bedroom features a double bed measuring 1.40 m x 2.00 m. The sofa in the living area can be converted into a sleeping area. A travel crib is available for our youngest guests.

As northerners, we’re used to it, but the sea air is still a bit intoxicating even for us. Vacationers here always say, “Your clocks run slower,” and that’s exactly what you want on vacation: to slow down a bit. But here are a few ideas to get you started: Take Segway tours in Norddeich, bowling at the Emden TCE, dining at our world-class Italian restaurants like DaSergio or La Bottega Di Santino (see also Facebook), an evening swim or a sauna session at the Friesentherme Emden or at “De Baalje” in Aurich. Visit the Otto Hus and discover our unique “Otto traffic lights” there (see photos). The Emden Kunsthalle also welcomes every visitor, and even the CineStar is within easy walking distance. Head out to the Knock and enjoy a good cup of coffee at “Strandlust” with a view of the North Sea. Want to visit the island? The Emden Borkum ferry terminal isn’t far away. Ferries run back and forth here daily.
