Wabi Sabi Hostel Shinjuku West

I only stayed one night. The hostel was quite clean, and the beds were very comfortable. However, the hostel was really small and cramped. Six people were sleeping in one small room. The beds were more comfortable than in most capsule hotels, but you can't sleep if someone snores all night. The person on the bottom bunk snored all night. They might have slept well, but I only managed to sleep for 3-4 hours. I suffered from insomnia all day. I put earplugs in my ears, but it was no use. I've been in Japan for 1.5 months, and this is the first time I've been so sleep-deprived. If you're lucky, you won't share a room with someone who snores. Good luck.

TL:DR its walking near bus stops and the Marunochi train line is perfect for a solo stay-in near Shinjuku-Tokyo area, with a side of cramped but very clean rooms Inconveniences: - Very thorough step-by-step check-in system that is entirely self-service (extra awareness and basic english is a must) - Cramped spaces between rooms and halls (you'd get used to it in a while, but for anybody above 6ft, might want to reconsider getting bunk beds for single rooms) - Little to no room to organize your luggage anywhere without disturbing the other tenants Benefits: - VERY CLEAN place to stay, from top to bottom i've not experienced any cough from dust nor any odors - Often cheap price for its offers - Freely use of sink and kitchen (as long as you clean up after yourself) - Drinkable tap water for hydration - Heated toilet seats, Heated water for showers - Fridge with enough space for your drinks and snacks (be sure to mark it with your bed number) - Quiet culture in bunk-bed rooms so you can fully sleep without anybody on the phone or talking in general - Acessible electrical ports right on your bed - Very near public transport that goes to Nakano and Shinjuku Personal Thoughts: I've had a blast here because as someone who goes to tokyo to travel and sight-see (and tire-out my legs), its a welcomed place to lay on the bed and rest FULLY without any worry, personally getting out of the bus and not have to walk more than 50m to unload and sleep is the genuine best part of my stay, that and the heated water and toilet seat that heals me everytime i use them.

Place is 10-minute walk to the nearest subway... Place it clean, but tiny. No space for large luggage inside. Small ones are OK. Check-in process is too complicated. Codes via email were sent quite late, even if you registered online in advance. You need the code the enter the bldg.
