LT Shinjuku West

The unit is located on the 5th floor of an old apartment building, but the interior looks modern, spacious (3 bedrooms is honestly generous for the price that we paid), and had a lot of storage for luggage and clothes. The elevator is slow and also obviously very old, but we would tolerate that over not having the convenience of an elevator, as most apartment buildings in Tokyo do not have one. There are also a lot of convenience stores and restaurants between the nearest Tokyo Metro station and the property.

It would be better to use private transfer going to this property if you have a lot of heavy luggage. We made the mistake of choosing to use public transpo and underestimated the walking time because the road was uphill and we tired easily. It would also not be recommended for elderly people to stay in this place due to some hazards—there were times when we would almost trip due to unexpected steps or change in floor level, and the stairs can sometimes be slippery especially when using the provided slippers.

The location and cleanliness

It was dusty and felt like it had not been aired out in a while. There was also some funky smell that permeated the whole room a couple days into the stay.

微波爐不潔、洗衣機無法使用、筷子不足。

建物は古いマンションだが部屋はキレイにリノベ済。 値段の割にとても広く清潔でコスパ高し。 ベッドが安いスプリングベッドのため寝心地とキシキシ音が気になったものの値段を考えたら全然許容範囲。 ただ、トイレの芳香剤の匂いがキツすぎるのでそこは改善してほしいかも。
