Excellent location, cleanliness, comfort and host. The host was responsive, kind, helpful and supportive. Beautiful apartment and its excellent location is worth mentioning again. I try to attend mass daily, and I loved that a beautiful church was two blocks away. Location was close to the Cathedral area and streets with ample choices for shopping and eating. Recommend Il Ristorantino dell'Avoccato and A.R.T. sky Bar.
Caveat, these two issues were not the host's fault but my lack of knowledge of the culture/different systems: 1. Initially we couldn't find the box with the key to the apartment because I was looking in the wrong place and the wrong floor! In Europe the second floor is equivalent to the US third floor. 2. We tried to use the clothes washer, and it didn't work well for us, primarily because we were not able to decipher the control knobs with different icons than US ones.
